This petition has been created after discussion amongst many people involved directly and indirectly with the sport of motorcross, whom share a belief that the ability for one individual or small group of individuals to make complaints leading to the restriction or closure of a motorcross track must now be reassessed.
We, the undersigned, apply our details to this petition in support of the campaign to force a reassessment of the laws and local authority rulings whereby an individual or group of individuals can cause the closure of a motorcross track or restrictions to the use of that track which make it impossible to run both financially and practically.
We would like to raise the governments awareness that many of these tracks are highly supported and have also been established for a lot longer than the person(s) making the complaint have resided in the areas.
