This petition is for an elderly man that was released from a Florida state prison only to be held by Immigration to be deported back to his birth country. He no longer knows anyone there. All family is here in the USA.
Mr. Charles G. Sisnett was released from a Florida state prison in March 2003 and since is in the custody of the United States Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services. Mr.Sisnett was born in Barbados and immigrated to the United States in the early 1950's. He first worked the sugar cane fields in the south and eventually settled in Florida and married a United States citizen and raised two sons from that union. His wife later died. Mr. Sisnett has two daughters as well and grandchildren. He retired with full pension from Disney Entertainment, Orlando and will need to re-establish social security again. If he is sent back to Barbados he will be returning to a country he no longer knows, no family and no means of subsistence. He is 75 years of age and a severe diabetic.
We the undersigned feel that Charles G. Sisnett should remain in this country and live out his natural years with his family in Orlando, Florida.
