Digital Manga has announced that they will move Yaoi Con from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles starting 2012.
Yaoi Con has been in the Bay Area for 10 years. There is ample support for this convention here, as there is already an established fan base and a large LGBT community here.
The petition link will be sent to Akadot when we get at the least 100 signatures, otherwise, I do not think it will make an impact. It is important to spread the word!
We are vehemently requesting that Digital Manga refrain from removing Yaoi Con from it's birthplace of the San Francisco Bay Area, moreover from Northern California.
