Avastin is a next generation drug increasingly prescribed by Drs for Cancer patients, like myself. It is not a "cure" on its own, but is showing significant results (especially in dealing with Radiation Necrosis) in small trials in North America and elsewhere.
Ontario does not fund it, while other provinces increasingly are agreeing to do so.
I, support the efforts of Vasilis Vourkoutiotis and others afflicted with Brain Tumors, and I formally request that the government of Ontario allow the La Roche drug Avastin to be:
a) covered by OHIP, or at least be,
b) a legitimate tax-deductible Medical Expense.
I also authorize Vasilis Vourkoutiotis or his designate to compile and submit this request for only this purpose on my behalf.
