Borderlands, created by Gearbox is a great game and we the consumers are asking for simple changes to make it a better game.
1) In PT2.5 let all bosses, including quest bosses and the final boss, be farmable. Only a few of them respawn as of now.
2) Give us an option to in menu or just have it implemented in game. In PT2.5 increase the enemies health/shields by 5x what it currently is. I say health/shields and not their level because the damage they do can get out of control. Enemies do good damage but our characters are FAR to powerful and thus enemies die WAY to quickly.
3) A lot of bosses have their own weapons, which can be a reason to kill them in 2.5 but killing them once is all it takes... SO, make it so each boss drops a random Purple+ item every time. It gives the players a reason to rekill the bosses, instead of just reloading New Haven and opening chests. Allows us to actually play the game.
The implementation of these 3 things would completely change the longevity of Borderlands and it's future success.
