There are many descriptions of Religion and one of these cover all; a specified fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sect. What follows under this I wonder? United States laws, Sport teams, local schools, government. Is the United States supposed to just stop being. Are we to kick God out of our lives. Why not drop all laws as every one of them is based on the 10 commandments. If we are to stop Christianity in schools it is very important all religions come out. Team sports not included but I am only attempting to get a point.
This is taken from our 14th amendment: The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees the religious civil rights.[3] Whereas the First Amendment secures the free exercise of religion, section one of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibits discrimination, including on the basis of religion, by securing "the equal protection of the laws" for every person:
“ All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Now that all schools are told to take scripture out they are teaching children witchcraft, eastern religion. Why change something that is not broken?
These children are not taught and disciplined as I was taught to respect my elders and those who have authority over me. It is not being scared of those in authority just respect. I am not rude, I don't expect things to happen today or sooner as today children. I am so lucky I had prayer in school. So how did it hurt me? Without prayer to keep us focused throughout the day we see our children today are the most dis-respectable of those who are in authority as they are not taught to respect. Hello these are our up and coming Presidents.
Christianity and the Bible is what this country was built on. If Christians are not allowed to express our feelings or pray out loud then why do we still have our laws that were based on the 10 commandments?
The 10 commandments has been taken down as if some one is convicted by them. Being prejudice is something we see more here in the United States and times are going to be harder. Christians are not allowed to speak in public.
