For decades, dedicated parents have successfully taught their children at home, and most of these home teachers have not held a teaching credential. In California, a teaching credential is required only for public school teachers.
We know there are many great classroom teachers who understand that there is a difference between teaching in a classroom and teaching one’s child at home. If you have a teaching credential, we invite you to make the voice of classroom teachers heard by signing California Homeschool Network’s petition.
