Lidl have acquired the former Volvo car dealership site at 250 Fencepiece Road, Hainault. We will shortly be submitting a planning application for a neighbourhood discount food store with 893sqm sales area and 57 car parking spaces.
Lidl's proposal will provide a deep discount food store which will increase choice, aid competition and allow accessible shopping for price conscious shoppers. Furthermore, it will create up to 30 new job opportunities for local people.
The site has remained vacant for a number of years and is becoming increasingly unsightly. Lidl's proposal will replace an ageing premises with a modern energy efficient building whilst ensuring the site is decontaminated.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's application for the provision of a neighbourhood discount food store at 250 Fencepiece Road, Hainault.
