For 3 years, Pickering City Council been unable to decide on the issue of off-leash dog parks, or approve any of the numerous sites suggested by City staff and volunteers.
On July 13th, the Off-Leash Working Group and supporters would like Council to approve one or both of two locations.
* South end of West Shore Blvd – ideally suited to smaller dogs and handicap accessible.
* SW corner of Concession 3 and Valley Farm Road – great for larger dogs.
Stop the delays. This petition is calling for our Pickering City Council to decide on the issue of off-leash dog parks on Monday, July 13th, by selecting one or both of the suggested sites.
