South Carolina Family Courts do not serve the purpose they were intended to serve.
Who ever has the most money wins and children, mother's, and father's are suffering while attorneys, guardian ad litems, and judges are making a lot of money by pitting the parties against each other.
We, the undersigned, call on the South Carolina House and Senate to pass legislation that will:
1. Make amendments to Family Court so that everyone has "Fair and Equal Respresentation" as in other courts?
2. Make video cameras mandatory in Courtrooms for accountability and to eliminate the cost of transcripts?
3. Hold Private Guardian Ad Litems to the same standards as non private.
4. Make amendments so that people can not go to jail because of attorney fees?
