The Cold Spring Boat Club was formed in 1955 with one goal in mind, promote boating on the Hudson.
It has been an asset and major revenue stream for the Village since its inception.
We as residents want the Club to continue to promote and service boaters of the Hudson.
We the undersigned submit this petition to the Village of Cold Spring Board in recognition that we as village residents support the Cold Spring Boat Club.
We support the club receiving a long lease (49 years) in exchange for erecting a building that will continue to promote and service boaters of the Hudson.
We do not wish to see the existence of the club altered as it has served this community so well since 1955 and continually proves to be an essential to the economic vitality of this community.
