Support the use of Electronic Cigarettes for health reasons

I was a heavy smoker for over 47 years.

I also developed asthma after birth and at the age of four I was admitted into hospital with a severe asthma attack. From then on this became the norm for me all the way through my adult life even up to the present day.

When I was about 10 years old I started smoking cigarettes don't why I started, still can't think why.

As I got older the more I smoked, as a result of inhaling thousands of chemicals in a cigarette I developed emphysema and have many other ongoing medical problems, cigarettes contain thousands of harmful chemicals.

Doctors and consultants tried everything to get me to stop smoking nothing would work smoking cessation clinics, cold turkey, nicotine nasal sprays, nicotine gum no matter how many times I tried it just wouldn't work.

The only thing that has worked for me is an ELECTRIC CIGARETTE this is the reason why I have decided to write this letter to you i finally found something as a harm reduction device to get me off cigarettes if I did not have an e-cig then I would still be smoking.

I will always have emphysema and still take loads of medication the good thing is I have only been admitted to the hospital once this year for chest problems since I have been using an e-cig.

I like every other person who use an electric cigarette would like to know what this Government, or the E.U. or both, is planning to do about the use of an e-cig device are we going to be Penalised and if so what form will this take are they going to ban e-cigs will there be more Tax to pay, I am like every other e-cig user, is concerned what is going to take place.
