The National debate over women's reproductive health issues as it relates to abortion has been a hot-button issue with a stark divide and fiercely passionate critics on both sides of the argument.

According to data released in 2018 by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there were 638,169 abortions in 2015 alone(1). To put that number into perspective, that is more loss of life than the total number of American deaths in any war that our Nation has been involved in, including the Civil War. Simply put, Abortion IS America’s new Civil War.

Not convinced yet? 609,640 people will die this year alone from Cancer(2), one of the deadliest diseases mankind has ever known, yet this number still falls far short of the total number of abortions from 2015.

Pro-Choice Advocates typically site rape/incest, threats to the Mother’s life and the Child’s health as reasons to justify their cause, yet only 1% of abortions are due to rape/incest, >1% of abortions are performed to save the mother’s life and about 3% of abortions are performed due to major health concerns for the baby(1). This is less than 5% or 31,908 of the 638,169 abortions performed in 2015. This means that the number of abortions that are performed for the mother’s convenience are nearly as many as the number of people who will die in a given year from Cancer.

We must ask ourselves, if the law charges a person who murders a pregnant woman with a double homicide, why then, does it not charge an abortion as a single homicide?

It is clear that our abortion laws are flawed, but we must come together to demand that Congress rewrite the laws, prohibiting any abortion not medically necessary to save a life. Pro-Choice advocates do in fact have the right to choose, however the choice is not whether to have an abortion, the choice is whether or not to have unprotected sex.

There are plenty of loving people, who can’t have children themselves, willing to adopt a child whose parents don’t want or can’t afford to keep them.

I believe in God, I believe that we are created in His image, and I believe that we do not hold the authority to dictate which of His creations lives and which dies. Please sign this petition to make right what America has so wrong right now.
