This petition is for the support of more off campus housing for VT students. Having another option to live is always a good thing for the students. This neighborhood the Retreat at Blacksburg will be cottage style town homes and houses.
The Retreat will be Eco-friendly and plenty of parking and city funded transportation to VT and surrounding areas. (your info will be transferred to paper to be sent to town hall)
We the undersigned, support Landmark Porperties proposed student housing development called the Retreat. This project will provide student with a unique place to live that is within a half-mile from campus.
Overall this development is a benefit to the community as it will create 400 construction jobs and generate over $400,000 annually for local schools.
We urge our elected officials to say "YES" to this exciting project.
