A Rasputin is closing down in San Lorenzo. it would be nice to have a Trader Joe's instead of a Grocery Outlet or another Grocery Store. There is a Walmart across the street, a Safeway and Foodmaxx 2 blocks down this location. As well as a Lucky's up a mile on Hesperian Blvd. The closest trader Joe's is 5 miles from that location and many residence don't always have the opportunity to drive or be able to go to Traders Joe's in Castro valley. Some residence don't have transportation and sometime traffic may be difficult due to the commute presented by commuters trying to head back home to Dublin, Pleasanton , Livermore, or Tracy. This location would be great to be considered as an Trader Joe's and would bring great benefit to the city and residence because of it accessibility.
We residence of Ashland, Cherryland and or surrounding districts would like to request to have a Trader Joe's open up at Rasputin location that is being closed instead of a Grocery Outlet or another Grocery Store. There is a Walmart across the street, a Safeway and Foodmaxx 2 blocks down this location. As well as a Lucky's up a mile on Hesperian Blvd. We would like this petition to be considered for a closer Trader Joe's to open to us .
