Speeding and anti social driving behavior are increasing and becoming more of an issue in Silchester village.
After a recent high speed accident on Pamber Road/Kings Road, where a vehicle crashed at speed causing serious damage to two gardens, the local residents have started to lobby the local council, MP and the Highways agency.
The Highways agency is reluctant to review the situation because there has not been a fatal accident.
The residents of Silchester would like traffic calming measures put in place to prevent such a fatality happening.
The residents of Silchester Village, Hampshire request that the highways agency review the need for traffic calming and sped reduction in the village.
Following a recent high speed accident which fortunately did not result in a fatality, and the consistent speeding and anti social driving habits of many drivers through the village we are concerned for the safety of our property and other road users.
