Aldi wish to open a supermarket in the village of Slaithwaite which some of the local shops are against and are disputing that we don't need it.
We do need it as presently we have to travel either to Meltham or Huddersfield for our shopping as there is not enough choice in the village.
It's now time for the residents of the village to be able have their say and not be told by non residents what we need.
We the undersigned call on Kirklees Council to listen to what the residents of Slaithwaite would like and grant Aldi permission to open a supermarket in the village.
