This petition will grant OTAKU CITIZENS the right to MARRIAGE with a 2D CHARACTER (from anime, manga, video games, etc.). The Otaku community must unite to bring about change to this great country, and make it even greater. Our plight is akin to that of gays; a forbidden yet deeply tantalizing relationship with a taboo race...
A fellow Otaku in Japan tried to create a petition over there for the same reasons, yet did not get enough signatures. I aim not only to get enough signatures to make 2D marriage legal here in the U.S.A. but also GLOBALLY.
Join the cause for equality of 3D and 2D Otaku citizens!
We, the undersigned, call on the government of the United States of America to legally and officially realize the rights, needs, and wants of the Otaku community.
In specific, we plead that the President of the U.S.A. will grant the Otaku community THE RIGHT TO MARRIAGE WITH 2D CHARACTERS (anime, manga, video games, etc.).
