On going peaceful protests is being suppressed by the Nigerian government through use of force and killing by law enforcement officials. At it's inception the protests were to incentivize the government to cease police brutality and other infringements on civilian rights. However, the government has made attempts to sabotage the efforts of the protesters to justify the killings. Many have being wounded and the numbers of the death toll is inconclusive but if current state of events presist we could be talking of deaths in the thousands...
