Free The Dervish Seven: Iranian Dervish Layers & Web Administrators Sentenced To Harsh Prison Terms

The revolutionary court sentenced seven administrators of Majzooban-e Noor Dervish website, and the lawyers of the Dervish community, about two years after the arrest of dozens of members of the community.
Hamid Reza Moradi Sarabastani (website administrator and Dervish rights activist) was sentenced to 10.5 years in prison. Reza Antzari (website photographer and Dervish rights activist) was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison. Mustafa Danshejoo (lawyer and website administrator), Prashid Badallahi Parsi (lawyer and website administrator), Amir Eslami (lawyer and website administrator), Omid Behrouzi (lawyer and website administrator) and Efshin Karampour (jurist and website administrator) were each sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
The seven were also subject to a 5-year ban on membership in journalism, media groups, parties and activities as well as cyberspace activity. They were accused of setting up an illegal group to harm national security, anti-regime propaganda and insulting the Supreme Leader.
We the undersigned demand that the international community bring all possible pressure to bear upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to IMMEDIATELY and UNCONDTIONALLY free all of the "Dervish Seven": Hamid Reza Moradi Sarabastani, Reza Antzari, Mustafa Danshejoo, Prashid Badallahi Parsi, Amir Eslamic, Omid Behrouzi and Efshin Karampour.
These attornies and web admins are clearly prisoners of conscience being illegally persecuted for their peaceful practice of their legally guaranteed rights to freedom of expression and freedom of religion.
We further demand that the international community insist upon the release of ALL prisoners of conscience in Iran and an end to ALL persecution against ALL minority groups in Iran.
