There has been an increasing number of youths attacking innocent people, leaving an aftermath of destruction within our society. In many cases innocent people are badly injured or killed.
On the 14/04/12 my 19 year old beautiful nephew was struck by a 14 year old youth; on the 15/04/12 my nephew died of head injuries.
It has torn our family apart. The criminal justice system should make an example of offending youths to protect our society.
We the undersigned are calling on the prison sentence structure to make examples of offending youths in our society.
There has to be firmer guidelines and punishments for offending youths that inflict harm which in many cases lead to the death of innocent people.
