Stop Paternity Fraud in California - Eliminate the Statute of Limitation for DNA testing - Make mothers pay FULL RESTITUTION
In too many cases, California fathers end up paying child support on other men's children AND DON'T KNOW IT! Often the mother involved DOES know that the child or children are not the children of her husband or boyfriend, but she claims that they are his children because she is mad at him and she likes the children's father. This is fraud.
In other cases the mother may have a boyfriend on the side and in efforts to avoid her new honey from having to pay child support she will name her current child’s father as the father of the new child. This is fraud.
When she makes that claim to a court in a divorce or a child support action, she is committing perjury. She may claim to be doing it "for the children". A crime committed "for the children" is still a crime.
Now imagine this happening to you or one of your love ones. To add insult to injury you find out that the child you are being forced to support is not even yours and your ex-wife or ex-girlfriend knew about it since day one!
THE FATHER ONLY HAS TWO YEARS TO QUESTION PATERNITY AND AFTER THAT STATUE OF LIMITATION HAS PASSED THE MOTHER IS FREE TO COLLECT CHILD SUPPORT FOR THE NEXT 16 YEARS.
WE NEED PENALTIES IN PLACE NOW IN EFFORTS TO STOP PATERNITY FRAUD IN CALIFORNIA.
MAKE THESE MOTHERS PAY FOR THEIR ILLEGAL ACTIONS.
We, the undersigned, call on the Governor of California to STOP Paternity Fraud by eliminating the statue of limitation on which a father can seek a DNA test and REQUIRE the mother to make FULL RESTITUTION when she does not disclose all possible fathers when applying for State aid or child support.
MAKE THIS A RETRO ACTIVE LAW GOING BACK 18 YEARS TO HELP RELIEVE THE FATHERS WHO ARE CURRENTLY SUFFERING THE AFTERMATH OF PATERNITY FRAUD.
HOLD THESE MOTHERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ILLEGAL ACTIONS.
