Stopping the Afrexim Bank from giving the Republic of South Sudan the $250 million in loan

Since the independence of the Republic of South Sudan close to $8 billion has been squandered and misappropriated by the then Regional government and now the government of SPLM under the leadership of H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit. We've had unregulated runaway corruption and siphoning of public coffers by the J1 elites close to the Presidency.

Our financial systems of Banking are porous and have zero accountability and regulations. Our banks are controlled by vicious and greedy cartels supported by powerful individuals within the ruling party and government.

Our oil sector has been turned into a money making machine for a few men who are indestructible and indispensable. Our natural resources —oil and others—have been pre-sold to huge international organisations and cooperations drilling our oil. As a country we have unequivocally sold the future of the Nation for today. There's completely ZERO accountability and auditing of the oil funds. And ZERO development in terms of infrastructure, healthcare, education, Clean water and sanitation, security, and agriculture has been abandoned. It receives almost 2% of the GDP while defense gets 42+% of our BORROWED resources.

Our boarders are porous. Custom and National Revenue Authority officials have swindled every non-oil revenue coins we collect. Recently from March to September close to $300M in revenue disappeared into the wind from the NRA and NOBODY was held accountable. No case!

Recently the Qatar government wants back their $700M in loan back after we failed to pay the money over a period of 5 years. The agreement allowed the Qataris to be paid in Oil. We NEVER did pay.

Early this year the African Union and the East African Community accused us of defaulting on mandatory financial commitments which resulted in revocation of our membership. A serious embarrassment to the nascent State and her people.

We are tired of a government that lacks the fiscal brilliancy and responsibility to the people and the Economy. Currently our economy is in ICU after the South Sudanese Pound lost value to the dollar due to the panic in the market as the demand for dollar skyrocketed, leaving the people frustrated as prices of commodities are soaring and unaffordable. Oil prices have soared as well. Life is completely unbearable for the common man. We reject in totality the offer from the Afrexim Bank of giving the Republic of South Sudan another loan of $250M until such a time when the financial stringent reforms are in place and the Cartels in the system are weeded out. The monies will be stolen.
